1.1. In references to "Chiltern Venison," "we," "us," or "our," we are referring to Chiltern Venison Limited. 1.2. When we mention "you" or "your," we are addressing you, the individual accessing our website or making an order with us. 1.3. "Website" pertains to our website, ChilternVenison.co.uk. 1.4. "Products" refers to the items available for purchase on our website. 1.5. "Order" signifies the products you've acquired on our website, either as a one-time purchase or as part of recurrent deliveries. 1.6. "Subscription order" designates a recurring order scheduled for delivery at specified intervals. 1.7. "Delivery" signifies the physical transfer of the order you've placed on our website. 1.8. "Order deadline" is the time after which orders cannot be altered or cancelled.

3. Products
3.1. Product prices may change without notice as we regularly review them. 3.2. While we strive for accuracy in product descriptions, images, prices, and information, we are not liable for inaccuracies, errors, or omissions. 3.3. Deer seasons are governed by law and deer behaviour varies, particularly with extended bad weather, consequently product availability may vary. 3.4. Products are priced per unit, with weight prices provided as guidance. Due to product variability, we cannot always guarantee exact weight specifications. We will always aim to meet or exceed order weights, where this proves impossible, we will contact you to discuss alternatives or make reasonable, comparable substitutions. We do not accept responsibility for underweight or overweight products, but we will always aim to meet weight/value/similar cut expectations. 3.5. Venison for human consumption carries no VAT at this time. Likewise working dog food. Other pet food carries VAT and these product prices are shown inclusive of applicable VAT.
4. Accounts and Ordering
4.1. To place an order, you must be 18 years old. 4.2. During checkout you will provide a valid email address. 4.2.1 During registration you will provide a valid email address and create a unique password. 4.3. You are responsible for ensuring your account details, including delivery address and instructions (as explained in section 8.6), are accurate. 4.4. Notify us of any changes to your details before the order deadline if they relate to a specific order / delivery (section 7.3). 4.5. You are accountable for all activity on your account and orders placed, modified, or cancelled using your password. Safeguard your email address and password, and notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access. 4.6. We retain the right to suspend or close your account at our discretion. 4.7. 5. Purchasing Products
5.1. You can buy products and create an account on our website. 5.2. Add products to your shopping basket ("My Basket" on the website) 5.3. Modify or remove products in your basket before confirming your order, including changing quantities. 5.4. Orders are subject to acceptance based on minimum spending requirements, which may change. 5.5. Select a delivery or collection date before confirming your order. National orders have a separate delivery charge, clearly stated before payment. Delivery charges are generally fixed,but may vary based on seasonality or your special delivery requirements (section 8.1). 5.6. Subscription orders: choose the frequency for subscription orders before confirming. Eg Select "Every week" or "Monthly". 5.7. Orders are accepted once our website displays an “order confirmation” message. You'll receive an email confirming your order with details. A sale contract arises upon our acceptance of your order. 5.8. You agree to contact us promptly regarding any order confirmation errors.
6. Payment
6.1. We use Wix Payment services to process payment. Wix currently accepts major debit/credit cards, Apple Pay, Tap to Pay on iPhone. You are required to provide valid payment details. Update payment details through your website account or contact customer service. Never email payment card details. 6.2.1. Payment is taken at the time of order. 6.2.2 For subscription orders, payment is taken at processing and order deadlines (section 7). 6.3. We employ a recurring transaction mandate for subscription orders, with predetermined payment amounts. 6.4. Your payment information is securely stored and processed by a PCI-compliant third-party provider (“Wix”). Wix uses secure on-site and in-app checkout with HTTPS/TLS data encryption and Dynamic 3D Secure 2 authentication technology for fraud protection with EU card payments. 6.5. We will suspend or cancel orders with rejected payments, requiring you to arrange payment before ordering again.
7. Orders
7.1. Charges for additions to, or removals from, your order reflect the price difference. 7.2. You can modify your order up to 48-hours prior to the delivery date. After this period we will try, but cannot guarantee, to be able to make modifications at our discretion. 7.3. Orders can be changed or cancelled before order deadlines (FAQ page). 7.4. After order deadlines, orders are processed (section 6.2). 7.5. After processing, orders are scheduled for delivery. Orders cannot be cancelled or refunded after the order deadline. 7.6. For temporarily out-of-stock items, we may substitute or contact you for alternatives or delayed delivery. (Section 3.4) 7.7. Order acceptance is at our discretion; we may refuse orders.
8. Deliveries
8.1. Increased courier rates may apply for peak or seasonal deliveries. We will inform you of such charges during checkout or in order reminder emails. 8.2. We use third-party couriers for non-local deliveries. Orders are delivered as per the order confirmation, unless uncontrollable events occur, leading to revised delivery times. Delays of over 24 hours or non-delivery prompt full refunds or replacements. Uncontrollable events include adverse weather, strikes, vehicle breakdowns, etc. 8.3. Deliveries are scheduled to arrive within 24 hours, shipped the day before your selected date. 8.4. You will arrange suitable receipt of your delivery and promptly follow courier instructions for redelivery if you're unavailable. 8.5.
After delivery or courier departure, we are not liable for loss or further delay. Contact us that day if you don't receive your delivery so that we can assist. 8.6. Ensure accurate delivery details. Incorrect information should be promptly corrected; we are not responsible for losses due to incorrect details. 8.7. Refused or unaccepted deliveries are not our responsibility and do not warrant replacements. 8.8. We package courier-delivered goods in fully recyclable cardboard boxes with ice and natural insulation materials, keeping contents frozen for up to 36 hours. Local deliveries may vary as we seek to minimise use of packaging materials. 8.9. We can only deliver within mainland England, Scotland and Wales at this time.

Returns & Refunds 9.1. We aim for your total satisfaction. We want you to contact us for assistance with any issues or concerns please. 9.2. Refunds or replacements are at our discretion. 9.3. For complaints, contact our customer service team. We aim to respond promptly.

Unauthorized use of promotional codes may result in order cancellation. 14.5. Offers and
promotions may have defined durations or end at our discretion and may carry specific terms and conditions.
15. Competitions
15.1. Competition entry is limited to UK residents aged over 18, excluding certain individuals related to any Promoter or Chiltern Venison Ltd. 15.2. No purchase is necessary and entry requirements are minimal- your email address and name. 15.3. Prizes are non-transferable.
